Helsingin kamarikuoro valitsi uusia kunniajäseniä syksyllä 2025

The Helsinki Chamber Choir has elected two new honorary members. The new honorary members are composers Matthew Whittall and Helena Tulve. The choir has collaborated extensively with both of these renowned composers. Whittall and Tulve’s honorary memberships were announced at the end of November 2025 in connection with the premiere of Whittall’s work The World Tree for the Helsinki Chamber Choir.

The other honorary members of the Helsinki Chamber Choir are Einojuhani Rautavaara (1928–2016) and Kimmo Hakola.
